DigiOS connects to your ShipStation account through the ShipStation API, with credentials from your account. DigiOS sends the order and the package, and ShipStation buys the label from the carrier account you have connected there.

- About ShipStation
- ShipStation is a shipping software service that buys postage and prints labels across many carriers.
- Your account
- Your carrier accounts, account numbers and negotiated rates stay yours, and carrier charges go to your account.
- If a document is rejected
- A label request the carrier refuses, such as a bad address, stops the carton at the pack station with the carrier's message. The packer fixes it or picks another service, and nothing ships without a label.
Questions about ShipStation
Which carriers can we use through ShipStation?
The ones connected to your ShipStation account. DigiOS asks ShipStation for the label and does not need its own account with each carrier.
Can orders arrive in ShipStation and DigiOS both?
Yes, but only one of them should own an order. We set that rule with you per storefront.
Does DigiOS print the labels?
Yes. The label comes back from ShipStation and prints at the pack station on the printer you choose.
