DigiWarehouse · Inventory

Inventory by client and by location, current to the last scan.

See what is on hand, available, reserved and on hold for each client, and where it sits. Counts, holds and corrections carry a name and a time.

Sample data

Stock by locationWhere every pallet is: a map of the floor and a table by location, with the client, the quantity and any hold. Filter to one client or to holds only.On a phone this shows the stock table, by location.

What it usually looks like

  • Two clients' stock in one bin and a spreadsheet to tell them apart.

  • A count that moves the number and nobody can say why.

  • An "available" figure the client doesn't believe.

Five things it does

Stock by location.

The warehouse map, each pallet and where it is, and every move between locations. Every pallet and carton is tracked by LPN, with lots and serial numbers kept against the item, and products scan by GTIN.

Count and correct.

Counts show the difference. A small difference corrects itself within the tolerance you set; a larger one waits for a named person.

Sample data

Handheld taskLocation, item and quantity, a scan to confirm, and the next job. With no signal the scans keep going on the device and are checked when it reconnects. On a phone this shows each handheld at its own size, one under the other.

Holds and quality.

Put stock on hold and release it with a name. Temperature sensors and other IoT readings watch each zone; a reading out of range puts that zone's stock on hold.

Sample data

Live operations boardDoors, tasks, orders and exceptions for one site, by client or shift. A scan on the floor shows up here as it happens. On a phone this shows the totals, the doors and the scan feed.

Same barcode, different client.

Two clients can use the same barcode without their stock mixing.

Questions

Who can write stock off?

A write-off waits for a named person to approve the exact quantity. An automation can draft it. It can't approve it.

Does the client see holds?

Yes, for their own stock.

Do you handle serial and lot numbers?

Yes. Lots and serial numbers are kept against the item, and every pallet and carton is tracked by LPN.
