Defense suppliers

Know where every part, lot and reel is, and who signed it off.

DigiOS runs the stockroom and the dock for shops that build to a prime's terms: receiving inspection, controlled stores, kits to the job, customer-furnished material kept apart, and a named sign-off on every release. Lot and serial traceability, IUID marks and a C of C on every receipt come with it.

Sample data

Receiving and dock boardThe receiving board: expected notices, receipts by door, and what is waiting for a person to release it.On a phone this shows the delivery at door 3 and the exceptions that need a person.

What it usually looks like

  • A reel arrives and is on the shelf before anyone has checked the certificate of conformance.

  • Customer-furnished material sits next to your own stock and a label is the only difference.

  • A kit is pulled for a traveler and nobody can show who pulled it.

What comes in, and who released it

Wire, terminals, connectors, overmold and the material a prime sends you arrive on the same dock. A receipt stays on inspection until a named person releases it, and the release is tied to exactly what they looked at.

Sample data

Approvals inboxBig changes wait for a named person, who sees exactly what will change before approving. Automation can prepare a request; a person decides. On a phone this shows the request, exactly what will change, and who decides.

Their material stays theirs

Customer-furnished material is kept apart from yours and only shown against the customer it belongs to. Stock by lot and location is one screen. A lookup that touches another customer's material says nothing about whose it is.

Sample data

Stock by locationWhere every pallet is: a map of the floor and a table by location, with the client, the quantity and any hold. Filter to one client or to holds only.On a phone this shows the stock table, by location.

Every kit shows who pulled it

A kit is the list of what goes to a job. It is picked by scan, and the person who pulled each line is on it. When something doesn't fit (a short, a damaged reel, a wrong part) it goes to a named person, and a scrap or a write-off waits for their sign-off, for that exact quantity.

Sample data

Handheld taskLocation, item and quantity, a scan to confirm, and the next job. With no signal the scans keep going on the device and are checked when it reconnects. On a phone this shows each handheld at its own size, one under the other.

It sits beside what you run

Your ERP, your drawings and your quality system keep doing their jobs. DigiOS handles the dock, the stockroom and the sign-offs, and passes what each needs. Tell us the shop system you run and we'll tell you how they connect.

Sample data

ConnectionsConnected systems by kind, what moves in each direction, and when it last moved. When an exchange fails, the tile says why and who can fix it.On a phone this shows the connection that needs attention, and one that is working.

What it touches

We name these so you can find us, and so we can say plainly which parts of each DigiOS touches. Naming a requirement does not say that DigiOS satisfies it. Send the clause numbers, not the contracts or the drawings, and we answer in writing.

DigiOS can run in your own cloud or on your own site, so it sits inside the boundary you already manage. Nothing leaves it unless you say so.

Bring the clauses. We'll tell you in writing what they touch.

Send the clause numbers that reach your shop, for example DFARS 252.204-7012, -7019 or -7020, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, ITAR or AS9100, not the contracts or the drawings. We'll answer in writing which parts of DigiOS touch each one and which don't. Please don't send anything controlled to find out.

One open job: its material list and the name of the system that holds it, as a plain export with nothing restricted in it.

Who should be in the room?

Your quality manager and the person who runs the stockroom.

See it on one of your jobs.
