/3PL

BUILT FIRST FOR THIRD-PARTY LOGISTICS.

What a 3PL buys on, and what DigiWarehouse does about it. Each answer says what we do and how sure we are.

/CRITERIA

WHAT A 3PL BUYS ON.

The criteria below are the ones 3PL operators and their own studies keep returning to. Each answer says what DigiWarehouse does and how sure we are.

LABOR: TEMPS, TURNOVER, RAMP-UPTHE SYSTEM DIRECTS THE WORK.Tasks are planned, assigned and confirmed by scan, so a temp starts on the next instruction instead of the shift lead's memory. Warehouse rules are published once and checked before any task starts.OBSERVEDPLANNED
INTEGRATION WITH THE CLIENT'S ERP AND EDIKEEP YOUR ERP. FIX THE HANDOFF.Orders, receipts, shipment advices and inventory snapshots move over EDI or REST with acknowledgments and one shared exception queue. Each inbound document is kept as evidence beside the order it opened.DESIGNEDDESIGNED
CLIENT VISIBILITYTHE CLIENT SEES THE SAME FACT.A cargo owner signs in and reads its own orders, stock and documents from the warehouse's record, with an as-of time on every board. Another client's pallet, scan or price never appears, and a refused lookup does not say whose it was.OBSERVEDDESIGNED
BILLING ACCURACY AND DISPUTESA CHARGE NEEDS A FACT.A charge is only as good as the recorded work behind it. The engine records receipts, moves and shipments as facts today; priced charges, rate-card revisions and client statements are planned and will cite those facts line by line.DESIGNEDPLANNED— NOT CLAIMED
ONBOARDING A NEW CLIENTA NEW CLIENT IS A NEW SCOPE.Adding a client opens an owner scope: its items, barcodes and orders belong to it from the first record, even when another client sells the same GTIN. Order and inventory feeds attach to that scope, so nothing is re-keyed under the 3PL's name.OBSERVEDDESIGNED— NOT CLAIMED
SEVERAL SITES, AND THE NETWORK DROPPINGONE FACILITY IS ONE SCOPE.Each facility is its own scope inside a customer environment, so a count, a hold or a stopped line at one site does not rewrite another site's stock. When the network drops, the floor keeps working on what it already holds.OBSERVEDDESIGNED— NOT CLAIMED
TRACEABILITY AND RECALLEVERY PALLET HAS A TRAIL.Pallets, license plates and serials are registered once and are unique across the tenant, and every move, hold and shipment is a recorded fact with a person or device and a time. A recall starts from those facts, not from three spreadsheets.OBSERVED— NOT CLAIMED
VALUE-ADDED WORK AND CUSTOM WORKFLOWSYOUR WAY OF WORKING IS A RULE.Special labelling, serial control and the move, count and inspect tasks are kinds and rules the warehouse publishes, not code someone writes for one client. Authoring entirely new workflows is planned; today our engineers compose them with you.OBSERVEDPLANNED
OFFLINE FLOORSTHE FLOOR KEEPS SCANNING.Handhelds hold a lease on their work, so a scan in a dead zone is queued as an intent and judged when the link returns. If a lease is revoked, what was admitted before the cut-off stands; what came after is refused and shown to the supervisor.OBSERVEDOBSERVED

A client will pay a charge it can trace and will audit one it cannot. A charge with no recorded work behind it is an opinion. Itemised is the difference between a bill that is paid and one that is audited.

/GO LIVE

A CLIENT GOES LIVE IN FOUR STEPS.

Adding a client is a short path with a measurable end: the first order, end to end. The steps are designed, and the one that depends on billing is planned.

  1. 01

    LINK THE FEED

Connect the client's order feed and inventory export through Client Link.

    DESIGNED
  2. 02

    MAP THE ITEMS

Bind the client's own item codes and ship-to codes in its partner profile.

    DESIGNED
  3. 03

    AGREE THE CHARGES

Agree what is charged before the first run. Pricing it from rate cards is planned.

    PLANNED
  4. 04

    RUN ONE ORDER

Run one order from notice to advice and show the client its own record of it.

    DESIGNED
How a client goes liveFour plates stepping down and to the left, each with more lit than the last: link the client's feed, map its items, agree the charges, then run one order end to end.

WHAT IF TWO OF OUR CLIENTS USE THE SAME BARCODE?

Each binds the GTIN to its own item. A scan that could belong to either comes back ambiguous instead of guessing, and neither client learns about the other.

/SESSION

BRING ONE CLIENT.

One client's order feed. One inventory export. We load both and open that client's view beside yours, so you see what the client would.
