DigiOS connects to your Shippo account through the Shippo API. DigiOS creates a shipment with the addresses and the parcel, chooses a rate, buys the label as a transaction, and subscribes to tracking updates for it.

- Shippo is a shipping service with an API for comparing rates, buying labels and tracking packages across carriers.
- Your account
- Your carrier accounts, account numbers and negotiated rates stay yours, and carrier charges go to your account.
- If a document is rejected
- A label request the carrier refuses, such as a bad address, stops the carton at the pack station with the carrier's message. The packer fixes it or picks another service, and nothing ships without a label.
Questions about Shippo
Can we use our own carrier accounts in Shippo?
Yes, if Shippo supports the carrier. DigiOS follows the accounts you have connected there.
Can we ship from several sites?
Yes. Each ship-from address is set per site, and DigiOS uses the one on the order.
What happens to a label we do not use?
DigiOS asks Shippo to refund it when a packer cancels the carton.
