DigiOS connects to your EasyPost account through the EasyPost API. DigiOS creates a shipment with the addresses and the parcel, picks a rate, buys the label, and follows the tracker EasyPost creates for it.

- About EasyPost
- EasyPost is a shipping API that gives one interface to many carriers for rates, labels and tracking.
- Your account
- Your carrier accounts, account numbers and negotiated rates stay yours, and carrier charges go to your account.
- If a document is rejected
- A label request the carrier refuses, such as a bad address, stops the carton at the pack station with the carrier's message. The packer fixes it or picks another service, and nothing ships without a label.
Questions about EasyPost
Do we use EasyPost's carrier accounts or our own?
Either. EasyPost lets you buy through its accounts or bring your own, and DigiOS follows whichever you set up there.
Can DigiOS compare rates?
Yes. The pack station shows the rates EasyPost returns and buys the one you or your rules pick.
How does DigiOS follow a package?
EasyPost trackers send status updates by webhook, and DigiOS shows them on the order.
