DigiFactory · Production

Kitting, light assembly and value-added services, with every lot traced.

DigiFactory runs the work between the stores and the shipping door: kits pulled by scan, products assembled at a station, and services like labelling, bundling and rework done against the order. Every finished product knows its lots, and every lot knows where it went.

Lot genealogyStart from a finished lot and see every lot it was made from and every step it went through, with who did it and where. Start from a supplier's lot and see where it went.

Four jobs, one work order

Kit.

Pull what goes to a job by scan, with the lot of each part and the person who pulled it. A short, a damaged part or a wrong one goes to a named person.

Assemble.

Steps appear at the station in order. A skipped step stops the next one, and each step carries the operator and the time.

Add value.

Labelling, bundling, relabelling, inspection and rework run as services on the order, each with its own steps and its own owner.

Trace.

From a finished product back to the lots and operators that built it, and forward to every order that received it.

Questions

Is this a replacement for our MES?

No. DigiFactory works beside it. The MES plans and releases the work, and DigiFactory runs the kitting, the assembly and the services on the floor.

Do we need machines or robots for this?

No. Kitting and light assembly start at a bench with a handheld. Machines and robots join when you want them.

Describe one job.
