DigiOS takes weight and size from the device over serial, USB or your network, using the output format the device already sends. An edge gateway in your building reads the device and passes the number to DigiOS for that station.

- A scan, a label or a command that fails shows on the device and in the exceptions list with its reason, and nothing is sent again on a guess.

Does DigiOS need a particular make of scale?
No. We take the output the device already sends. Tell us the model and send a sample.
Where are measured sizes used?
On the label request for the carrier, and on the carton's data so the next shipment of the same item starts with a good estimate.
Do scales have to be approved for trade?
That depends on whether you charge by weight. Your scale supplier knows what your use needs; DigiOS uses the number the device gives it.
