How DigiOS works with Zebra and Honeywell Android handhelds
DigiOS runs in the handheld's browser and as an installed app, with no add-on for the screen. The built-in scanner hands each scan to DigiOS through the maker's scanner service on the device, set up once with a profile we provide. Work stays on the device if the Wi-Fi drops and syncs when it returns.

- A scan, a label or a command that fails shows on the device and in the exceptions list with its reason, and nothing is sent again on a guess.
Questions about Zebra and Honeywell Android handhelds
Do we need to install an app?
You can use the browser, or install DigiOS on the device. Either way, the scanner works the same.
Does it work with other Android handhelds?
Often yes. Devices that hand scans over as keystrokes or Android intents work, and we confirm each model with you.
What happens when the Wi-Fi drops?
The person keeps scanning. The device holds the work and sends it when it is back on the network, and anything that conflicts goes to a supervisor.
Can DigiOS also run on a tablet?
Yes. Any modern browser works, and a tablet suits a supervisor or a pack station.
