DigiOS connects to your store through the BigCommerce REST API with an API account you create in the store. New orders arrive by webhook, and DigiOS answers with a shipment and an updated order status.

- About BigCommerce
- BigCommerce is a commerce platform for building online stores, with a catalog, checkout and an app ecosystem.
- Your account
- You keep your BigCommerce store or seller account. DigiOS uses the app access you authorize, and you can take that access away at any time.
- If a document is rejected
- An order with a SKU DigiOS doesn't know, or a shipment confirmation the store refuses, goes to one queue with the reason. Fix the item or the mapping and run it again, and it never ships twice.
Questions about BigCommerce
Does DigiOS change our checkout?
No. Checkout, payment and the catalog stay in BigCommerce.
What if a webhook is missed?
DigiOS also checks for new orders on a schedule, so a missed notification is caught on the next pass.
Do we need a custom app?
No. An API account on your own store is enough. Tell us if you would rather install an app.
Ask about BigCommerce.
Tell us what you run and what you want BigCommerce to do. A person answers in writing.
