Xero with DigiOS.
Each client's statement becomes one Xero invoice, with contacts created for you and credit notes for adjustments, so billing stops being a spreadsheet.

DigiOS connects to your Xero organisation through the Xero Accounting API, authorised by a user with OAuth 2.0. Sends carry an idempotency header, and the invoice number lets DigiOS check whether an earlier send landed.
- Where it stands
- Designed1 Nov 2026
- About Xero
- Xero is a cloud accounting platform with invoicing, bank reconciliation and reporting.
- Your account
- You keep your Xero account and its licenses. DigiOS signs in with the integration access you give it, and you can take that access away at any time.
- If a document is rejected
- A document Xero refuses, such as an unknown item or a closed period, goes to one queue with Xero's own message. Fix it there or in the mapping and send it again. It never makes a second document.
What posts to your books
- What posts
- Contacts, invoices and credit notes.
- At what grain
- One invoice per client statement, with each charge as a line.
- How a charge becomes a GL line
- Each kind of charge is mapped to a Xero account code and tax rate, with the client, during onboarding.
Questions about Xero
Does DigiOS post payments back?
Not today. DigiOS sends invoices and credit notes. Payments stay in Xero, where you reconcile them.
Can several of our companies connect?
Yes. Each Xero organisation is authorised on its own, and each client statement goes to the one you choose.
Can we try it against a demo company?
Yes. We test against a Xero demo company first, and you approve the mapping before the first real invoice.
