DigiOS acts as an AS2 endpoint and as an SFTP client, so a retailer or a client can send X12 or EDIFACT files straight to you. Each AS2 message is answered with a delivery receipt, and each SFTP folder is checked on a schedule you set. As the warehouse, DigiOS receives 940 and 943 and sends 945, 944, 947 and 846. When it relays a client's retailer documents, it passes on 850, 856 and 810.

- About Direct AS2 and SFTP
- AS2 exchanges documents securely over the internet with a delivery receipt, and SFTP exchanges files over SSH.
- Your account
- You keep your Direct AS2 and SFTP account and your retailer relationships.
- If a document is rejected
- A document that is rejected, late or missing goes to one queue with its reason, readable on screen and over the API. When the other side fixes its layout, run the document through again. A document sent twice never opens a second order.
- Documents
- As the warehouse, DigiOS receives 940 and 943 and sends 945, 944, 947 and 846, with 997 and 999 acknowledgments both ways. A client's retailer documents, the 850, 855, 856 and 810, are part of Client Link.
- X12 version
- Both X12 4010 and 5010, per trading partner. The version is set for each retailer in the mapping sheet.
A client who isn't on DigiOS
Clients keep sending what they send today. Client Link brings their documents in and sends receipts, shipment advices and inventory back.
How Client Link worksQuestions about Direct AS2 and SFTP
Do we need an EDI provider?
No. Some retailers and clients send straight to AS2 or SFTP. DigiOS can be that endpoint.
Can a VAN be used?
Yes. A VAN delivers to an SFTP or AS2 address, and DigiOS takes it from there.
What if a document is sent twice?
It never opens a second order. The second copy goes to the queue marked as a repeat.
